The Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) is a statutory body established under the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act 1946, which came into effect on 4 July 1948. The Council is a non-executive body and has no power or authority to become involved in individual cases or in the decision-making process.
IIAC meets a minimum of 4 times each year.
