In 2006/2007 IIAC commissioned a review comparing the IIDB scheme with other international occupational disease and injury compensation schemes. This review was undertaken by Professor David Walters at the Cardiff Work Environment Research Centre at the University of Cardiff. The purpose of this commissioned report was to inform IIAC's opinions in light of the current review of the IIDB scheme being undertaken by the DWP.
